HELENA HOSPITAL · HELENA, ARKANSAS

Helena Hospital is a community-owned Rural Emergency Hospital. WebJIVE built its new website on Jarvi, our own website platform. It launched on September 4, 2026, and went from one coming-soon placeholder page to 22 public pages. The homepage scores 98 on mobile and 100 on desktop in Google PageSpeed Insights (median of 3 runs), and 100 on Google Lighthouse's automated accessibility check, which is a score and not a compliance audit.

Helena is a hospital, not a private practice. It is the healthcare site we can show measured before-and-after results for.

What a practice site needs

WHAT A MEDICAL PRACTICE WEBSITE NEEDS.

This is a checklist of what a doctor's office or clinic website needs, whoever builds it. A patient who lands on your site should be able to do each of these in a few taps.

  1. ONLINE BOOKING AND PATIENT-PORTAL LINKSA clear way to book, or a link to the booking system you already use, and a link to the patient portal, near the top of every page.
  2. PROVIDER BIOSA page or section for each provider: name, role, focus and credentials, so a patient knows who they will see.
  3. HOURS THAT MATCH GOOGLEOffice hours on the site that match your Google Business Profile, including holiday closures, so patients are never told two different things.
  4. INSURANCE ACCEPTEDThe plans you accept, written in plain language and easy to find before someone calls.
  5. PATIENT FORMSNew-patient forms that patients can find and download, or a clear link to wherever you collect them.
  6. LOCATIONSEvery location with its address, phone number, hours and directions, one place for each.
By specialty

WHAT EACH SPECIALTY'S WEBSITE NEEDS.

These are checklists, not case studies. Good website design for doctors, and physician web design in general, starts with the same basics; each specialty adds a few of its own.

DERMATOLOGY

A dermatologist website design has to make the services you offer, each provider's focus, how to prepare for a visit and how to book easy to find. Plain-language pages on the conditions and treatments you handle help a patient pick the right next step.

OPTOMETRY

An optometrist website design should show eye exams, eyewear services, the vision and medical insurance you accept, and how to book. Location and hours need to be easy to check from a phone, because that is often the whole visit.

FAMILY MEDICINE

A family medicine site serves every age in the household, so it should say what care is available, who the providers are, which insurance you take and how to book. Forms and the patient portal belong close to those main paths.

Jarvi AI editor

UPDATE YOUR PRACTICE SITE
IN PLAIN ENGLISH.

Jarvi is WebJIVE's website platform, and it includes an AI editor. You describe a change in plain English and it makes the change on the page. You look it over first, and nothing goes live until you say so.

  • “Add a new provider to the Providers page. Here is the photo and bio.”
  • “Update our office hours. We are closed on Fridays now.”
  • “We are closed for the holiday. Put a notice on the homepage.”

Examples of the kind of request you can type. They illustrate the editor and are not client results.

Questions

MEDICAL PRACTICE WEBSITES, ANSWERED.

What does a medical practice website need?

At minimum: a way to book or a link to your booking system, a link to the patient portal, a bio for every provider, office hours that match your Google Business Profile, the insurance you accept, new-patient forms, and every location with its address, phone number and directions.

Can a practice website load fast on a phone?

Yes, and it matters, because most patients look you up on a phone. We build pages to load quickly on weak cell connections. The homepage of Helena Hospital's website scored 98 on mobile and 100 on desktop in Google PageSpeed Insights (median of 3 runs).

Can we update hours and providers ourselves?

Jarvi, WebJIVE's AI editor, is built for that. You describe the change in plain English, such as a new provider, new hours or a holiday closure, look it over, and decide whether it goes live.

Who owns the website, and what are the terms?

No setup fees. Your content and your domain stay yours; the full terms are on our Terms & Conditions page. If you move to another provider, we return your website on request.

Have you built a website for a doctor's office or clinic?

Yes. We built the current sites for Noydeen Medical, a primary care clinic in Conway, Arkansas, and North Hills Family Medical Center. The healthcare cards above link to each case study, including Helena Hospital’s measured before-and-after results. The free review below shows how we think about a site like yours.

Do you work with practices outside Arkansas?

Yes. WebJIVE builds websites for businesses anywhere in the country, with offices in Little Rock, Denver and Dallas.

What does the free website review include?

Your scored report usually arrives by email within a few minutes: what's working, what to fix first, and whether you need a new site at all. If we can't reach your site automatically, a person follows up within two business days.
